Care instructions
Cleaning Your Board
Hand Wash Only: Never put your custom woodworking items in the dishwasher. The high heat and chemicals will warp and crack the wood.
Mild Soap: Clean your cutting boards and serving trays with warm water and a small amount of mild dish soap.
Dry Immediately: Wipe off excess water with a towel and allow the wood products to air dry standing on their edge. This prevents moisture from being trapped underneath.
Butcher Block Cleaner: Use only approved, food-safe butcher block or cutting board cleaners.
Maintenance & Oiling
Monthly Oiling: Every 2–4 weeks (or when your charcuterie boards, cutting boards, or serving trays look 'thirsty' or dull), apply a generous coat of food-grade mineral oil.
Conditioning: For extra protection, follow the oil with a wood conditioner containing beeswax. This creates a moisture barrier to prevent stains on your custom woodworking projects and other wood products.
